Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Non-hidden pond - It hasn't been 24 hours since posting yesterday's pic, but I have really enjoyed playing with the image. This is a different take on yesterday's typical autumn scene. As always, you will not hurt my feelings. I have been learning a lot!

I just want you all to know that I have been inspired greatly by looking at these daily pictures. This challenge is full of such a talented group of people, and I have learned much by seeing your daily shots, and also back to your respective galleries. Thanks so much for posting, and thanks to smugmug (or whoever) for coming up with this great idea!
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Hidden pond - Decided that I was going to take a picture today if it killed me (even in the rain), so I left for work with my camera. I had to go visit one of my vendors/customers today, who is working on a new project to print pictures on vinyl giving the look of art on canvas. She wants me to capture some nice scenes for her... I think I found one right outside her front door. I added a little to it in editing, but the original can be seen in my slide show on my home page... I'd do one of those handy little link things, but I'm not quite as good at this web stuff (stuff = my multi-purpose technical word) as I would like to be.
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > You talkin' ta me? - Didn't have time to get a pic today, so this is from the archives... Taken in 2007, her senior year, this is my daughter peeking around the wall of the dugout during a game to give me "the look." Those of you who are parents will recognize this look, I'm sure.

She now plays college ball, and I can tell you that the ball diamond is where I have really worked on my photo skills. When asked to take the first wedding (yesterday's picture), I asked the bride how she felt about sliding into the alter. Most of my softball pics were action shots, but this is one of my favorite ones, I think it's due to the obvious attitude.

I tried a few "fancy editing techniques", but none seemed to fit the picture. I liked it as is. You may have other ideas. Feel free to share.
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Life is but a dream... - I went back to some pictures I had taken of my 1st "official" wedding to see if I could play a bit with editing. My cousin insisted I take the pictures at her wedding, and I turned her down several times. After taking pictures for years, shooting this wedding gave me the courage to do what I love, so I have her to thank. I really didn't begin to take many chances with the pictures until recently. So I decided to see what I could do with some of these.

As always, you can't hurt my feelings, and any thoughts and ideas are welcome.
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Hold my hand - My brother leads his son through the corn maze.

I'm fairly new to Smugmug, and I'm so humbled by all of the kind comments. Wish I knew how to reply to everyone personally. Thanks so much!
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Best friends - My dad (in red) and my "uncle" (in yellow) have been best friends since college. This was taken at a friendly reunion football game... our family vs. their family. We won of course. Sometime you CAN pick your family.
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Cousins - My son holds my nephew as they play at the corn maze
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Trick or Treat - Just playin and trying out a few picnik items. Thought this was the perfect picture for the season.
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Senior ladder - One of my daughters best friends at the Lincoln farm where time stopped in the late 1800's.
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Ripples in the reflection - My one-year-old subject decided that throwing rocks in the water was more fun than getting his own picture taken.
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Lap dog - This is our baby, Zeus. My husband took this picture at my direction, then I tried some different effects to wash it out. Not really sure what I think about the effect, but I like the picture... probably because it's includes my big baby. I should tell you he weighs well over 100 lbs.
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > His & Hers - My daughter's apartment complex has 2 ponds. These are just 2 of the ducks that hang out with the college students.
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Just my size - It's not the ideal light, but it was too cute not to post.
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > Beach fun! Another picture from my old computer.
Terisa Lingafelter (CountryRoadPhoto) > If we dream in B&W, this would be included in the dreams of my family. We have lived softball for many years. This is one of the long lost photos from my old computer.
